HEIC is one of the new high resolution image formats but sometimes it can create problems in editing or viewing on some software, in this case we have to convert the image to be able to work with it.

Windows - Look on the store: HEIC and install the small codec, in full Windows style, if you need it, you pay for it, it costs little and I bought it too to sleep peacefully.
Linux - There are various terminal systems, which I do not use and do not write because I do not have the necessary knowledge, but there are software online that can help you.
